Kindergarten is still working on Bookworm School. We learned to let the librarian fix hurt books and to use our shelf savers when looking for books this week. We read Simon's New Bed and Go Sleep in Your Own Bed. Then we all used various building materials to build a bed for our animals. All grade levels have been working on proper book care, learning about the library and library expectations. We have participated in Scavenger Hunts, Kagan Strategies-Showdown, Rally Robin and Talking Chips, Prezis and Powerpoints. Kindergarten is working on Bookworm School. I think all grade levels except Kingergarten are ready to check out starting September 4. We will start with one book to get back in the habit of returning them. Kindergarten will be ready in a couple of weeks.
